Encupsulated

What if my mind cannot think and my body doesn’t feel?
Hiding in a solid state of numbness.

Inspired by scientific specimen jars, human hair and animal dismembered body parts are placed in containers. In spite of seeking scientific observation, Encupsulated deals with the sentimental realm, alluding to body-memory and a disconnection of the mind and body.

The Encupsulated cups were on display at Memorias Flotantes in Autograph gallery, a solo exhibition coinciding with a Christmas installation commission for their gallery floor.
